South Field is a useful, larger pasture between Pongratz Road and the Banks-Vernonia Trail near the south end of our property (aha!). We use it regularly in rotation as one of our beef cattle pastures, so people driving on the road and walking on the trail get nice glimpses of cows grazing. Our neighbors who face that pasture enjoy watching the contented animals and will ask us when the cows will be back!
