“Someday” got its name because it’s one of the few pieces of land we own that is on the west side of Dairy Creek, which makes it so hard to get to that we will have to wait until we have some time, someday, to figure out how to access and develop it. There used to be a little board bridge over to it to cross the creek, but that decayed years ago, long before we bought the farm. We have rights to drive on to Someday from the west, from Hwy 26, but we have to go through our neighbor’s property to do it, so we are reluctant to be annoying to them, and rarely go there. It is a lovely flat field surrounded on 3 sides by a loop of the creek, so it could be a very good place to grow some high-quality forage, like alfalfa, if we could get organized to do that.
